Optimized Body Composition
I've had an InBody body composition test done, and the results surpassed what I expected. There is a principle in biohacking that normal is not optimal. In this case I've done well: skeletal muscle mass, my bone mineral containment, my protein level, and my total body water exceeded normal, making my body healthier and stronger then the normal range. Meanwhile my body fat mass is way under normal, and my visceral fat is so low that it's unmeasurable. My BMI is on the higher side of the normal range, but it is because the high muscle mass that I've got. My body fat is 8,2% all year round and I'm full of energy, functioning very efficiently.
So how did I achieve this body composition: decades of consistent training, never being overweight in my life, doing hard cardio, strength training and sauna every day. Skipping ultra-processed food, having a mediterranean, extra virgin olive oil rich diet with liver, honey and whole wheat bread. Mostly that's it, staying lean is easier than getting lean - with this very active lifestyle I burn every calorie I take in. This InBody report complements my evolving quantified self, built on earlier laboratory tests and still open to further optimization.
